How billing works
Prepaid, per TB, from your wallet. Storage is sold in 1 TB blocks at €7.99 per block per month, with a 1 TB minimum once you create your first bucket. Cross into a new terabyte and that block is charged from your wallet straight away, pro-rated to the end of the month: start a block on the 20th of a 31 day month and you pay 12/31 of it. All blocks then renew together on the 1st, at the full monthly rate for whatever you are storing at that moment. Egress past your allowance works the same way, in whole €3.00 blocks, and so do the API call tiers.
If your wallet can't cover the next block, only the thing you couldn't pay for stops. Out of storage budget and uploads pause, while downloads, listings and deletes keep working, so deleting data drops you back under your ceiling and uploads resume. Why is Class C priced higher? LIST and COPY hit the metadata layer far harder than a simple GET or PUT. A single list on a bucket with 50 million objects costs orders of magnitude more to serve than a 10 MB download. Free tiers reset on the 1st of each month.
Payment methods
Credit top-ups. Fund your balance, we meter usage, you pay for what you use. No contracts and no notice periods: your commitment is one month at a time, and deleting your buckets ends it. Top-ups are non-refundable.

Is there a free tier?+
No. Storage starts at one 1 TB block (€7.99 a month, pro-rated from the day you create your first bucket). We price fairly rather than running a loss-leader. Delete all your buckets and the commitment ends at the next renewal.
Minimum object size?+
1 KB. Objects smaller than 1 KB are billed as 1 KB. No 50 KB or 100 KB gotchas.
Per-request charges?+
Class A (writes) is always free. Class B (reads) and Class C (LIST, COPY) each have 100,000 free calls per month. Overage: €0.40 / million for Class B, €2.00 / million for Class C.
Retention minimums?+
None. Delete an object one minute after upload, pay for one minute. (Within the same 1 TB block, with no refund on the block itself.)
What if I exceed my egress quota?+
€3.00/TB overage in whole 1 TB blocks, charged as you cross each one. No throttling and no bandwidth caps. The one limit is your wallet: if it cannot cover the next block, downloads pause until you top up or the allowance resets on the 1st. Uploads and everything else keep working.

Free. Always.
Refunds?+
Wallet top-ups are non-refundable, so fund only what you plan to use. Your data is always exportable, so nothing is ever locked in.
SLA?+
99.9% monthly uptime. Pro-rata service credits if missed.
Do I own my data?+
Yes. Export any time via S3 tools. We never hold data hostage with egress fees.
